brothers, a film by jim sheridan

last weekend i saw brothers at the irish film institute. the ifi is my neighborhood cinema!
WHATEVER. brothers is a film set in the united states. it is made by jim sheridan, an irish director of 'my left foot' fame. later, i saw 'my left foot.' it was really interesting. jim sheridan also made the 50 cent movie. to speculate why? is not funny, don't try it. at 'brothers,' i cried a lot. even with the war thing on america makes me hysterrical in such its unique way! sometimes i wonder about racoons. i bought some shoes i wasnt sure about to try to feel better, i guess i should return them, they're property of dublin. they're italian. dublin's really good, though. i've watched all the recent films of ryan reynolds and i am in marketing and i just keep going to the watercolors at the national gallery.

irish malls

today two of my kind actors and friends and i were escorted out of the mall bc i was shooting there, and i think they thought we were responsible for shutting down the escalator. it made me feel violent! ej (one of the two) said she had to do something to restore her faith in this city. i have very little footage for the assignment due tomorrow. we decided if we were in new york, the garda
there are many malls here in dublin

i wonder if that means i'm supposed to be teaching myself about postmodernism, but not like dave eggers at all except for how he was on the real world

this video's a little disappointing

today

today in class my music video professor asked if everyone had heard about postmodernism. that was really how he put it. and no one reacted / no one said yea and i just nodded my head! and he said ok give me two sentences to define postmodernism please cubby. i warn always have a two sentence definition of postmodernism in your bad pocket. i guess teaching music videos is teaching postmodernism.

maybe writing this blog isn't helping

futbol

vratiti!!!!

By the way čelzi je remizral tak da je 3 kola prije kraja + 5 za United...
YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!

A sad na izradu topica...ahhhh

cafetierre jack yeats, a new day, etc

today we went to the national gallery. it's free and we saw jack yeats colletion and also the turner watercolors. and also tiny tiny tiny watercolor portraits of people from the time people wore wigs, on ivory pendants, and also silouhettes. apparently silhouettes were commonly used for portraits of middle class families, since they were cheap, until photographs replaced them mm photography dominates and is useless and nowhere
then mom bought me a WATERCOLOR SET. ---- I am so excited since i remembere dthat dream i had freshman year of college where somebody like emreson said 'mothing is new and all the new stories are just revised versions of old stories. like everything in shakespeare' and so he daod you should just remake old rings and , i became thrilled sicne i would never need tivagwn have a new idea, so i will make redos of elton john videos and stuff ---- we ate at the mermaid cafe dinner, the waier/man there was into theatre and he said it's qite nice about ireland that everyone calls the euro different things here, like pounds, quid, dollars. he said it's quite nice about that, and seemed to really like it. well, i really liked him. he goes to new york every 18 months or so but just to see shows. maybe it's beacuse he really likes shows and maybe it's because dubin is so small.

the city i am in now hich i don't think is dublin is like if you made a microkazim european city dollhouse and turned it flat, and the big fancy depatment store has just a few dollsize purses and a few high heels. and american apparel is creeping around the corner. and the play food is arugula, tiger prawns and bacon and herb mash and panin on the menu but that never materializes. the neighborhood around the dollhouse is expanding a some churches that actually aren;t churches inside, they're the toursim bureau -- and a river liffey and buys stations, with people and no buses. it's all gray outside, the gray light permeates all colors. and the last sip of kir so saccharine! and like cranberry liquer in terschelling, and i think it's going to be ok if i remember it's going to be. i saw fishamble street, its the best street in the city , is it bad to own the dollhouse
